Do you wear a watch?

So slow it's criminal
I wore a tag aquaracer for 10 years but it has been in the gun safe with my wedding ring since wfh in March. I'll probably wear the watch again, but the ring will stay there.

I have that same ring. It's been sitting there for two months today and will sit there for the rest of eternity.

That said, bought myself a Breitling SuperOcean for Chriatmas.

Not sure if it counts but after like 27 years of not wearing a watch I finally broke down and bought a Galaxy Watch 3 LTE. I really like that I can get calls and messages without having my phone and the fitness tracking is pretty awesome as it yells at me when I have been sitting too long so I get up and move around seeing as I sit at a computer all day.

You can just say you got divorced or whatever. My dad didn't wear a wedding ring when my mom was alive and now he does with his second wife for whatever reason.

Do you guys not wear your rings because you're afraid of losing them?

Depends. I have taken it off when there is a chance what I am doing will cause it to either get messed up or caught on something and injure my finger.

I used to wear it all the time until it got caught on something and that something yanked so hard on it that it deformed the ring and left broken skin and bruising on my finger. It was not a fun day.

Ah man Rob...this is the next watch for me. I didn't want anything more than I have now until you tempted...that thing is awesome!

I love a good gimmick. And that “animated” caseback is a helluva gimmick. Almost makes one want to wear it inside out!

Pretty much anything I have that's shiny was purchased by my wife. The TAG is an exception. I've purchased two watches since she passed, and neither are bling. I wore my wedding ring for a few years, but it isn't really a good match for my line of work, so I kept it in the watch box.
And seriously, all of my shiny stuff, even the stainless 1911. I ordered it at the gun shop, then one day they called me ha it was in, I walked in, they handed me the paperwork. I went to pay, the lady says "No charge today."

I do love and want this one though. :thumbup Legibility and simplicity. :thumbup

It's got such a solid movement, I'm pretty stoked. I'll have it on my wrist Christmas day.

I won't have my Sea Dweller back from RSD until early February, they're replacing the movement under warranty.
