Make sure to get gas once in AZ. There are not many gas stations along I10 from CA to Phoenix. Less if you go east from 29 palms.

Saguaro NP east side has a short loop drive, I would go up Mt Lemmon. And I10 is extremely boring, although I did not look into your detail maps here on the phone.

I dont want to ride in dark and its not about putting miles on my connie either

It sure can rain hard here in November. It's been raining all last night until tonight. Flooding all over. However, by this weekend it should be above 70F and sunny and clear.

I will still be in AZ in December, but not here in Payson. I should be in Tucson in a couple weeks or so. But I am staying for a month here in Payson.
