Dates for Moto Dixon

This will be my first visit to Dixon. If you have both types, bring both

Most of my experience is with Stockton, being closer to home (hr away). As is Sonoma (+ toll and grid lock traffic on the way home :thumbdown). Atwater is about a 2hr drive. Fun and flowing track :thumbup. I presume Dixon will be about the same travel time for me. Looking forward to riding it :ride Hope to see you (and others) there.

We'll be there with the groms! Hope there's a good turn out but excited to try another new track.

Ha! I still got it wrong. Turns out it's the second drive way, from the main road, along with the Kinsman Kart Club sign Any regard, had a fun day at the track today :ride. Fun watching the Ninja 250's, the Grom's, and the NSR's having some fun with each other, and running some fast laps.

I bought this bike with a lot of unknowns. It use to be a race/track bike years back. There are actually quite a few photos of its previous life on teh Barf. I finally got to draining the tranny fluid. Out of the transmission drain plug it looked fine. But when I went to the clutch drain plug out came way too much fluid and it wasn't just oil!

What I believe happened is the water pump seal wore out, allowing water into the clutch area. It was quite a mess. I did get it all cleaned up, but ran out of time to do the other things on the task list. Eventually though I'll get through it, and meet up with you cats at the track.

Hope this weekend wasn't as windy in Dixon as last weekend!

When I had arrived in the morning opening, it was quite gusty. Once I eventually got on the track, I didn't notice, nor had any affect on me :dunno Actually, while sitting track side and watching those on the track, it was a bit refreshing, which helped keep me on the cool side, after pushing some hard session laps. The winds did die down some by the noon hour. My point, don't let the wind discourage riders from coming out :ride
