Curved monitor for software development

Interesting that you got the 3840 x 1600 and still want higher res - most of the ultrawides are only 1440, the 4k ones are $$$$.

I had to mess with Display settings and set to Scaled and then More Space setting to get it to icon/text/etc size that I wanted. It works. Definitely not a deal breaker, but if couple years down the road, or office, I can get another 38 ultra-wide for reasonable price with higher resolution I would definitely go for it. Maybe I got spoiled by retina resolution on my 16inch MBP. :laughing

Next monitor specs need to be

34" + ultrawide 1440/4k, HDR, 120hz +, not a TN panel (preferably not LCD at all but who knows) , not a billion $

Let me know when you guys find one :laughing

I mean there are like a dozen that fit that criteria, but they're $1k-$3k. Hey, it's not technically a billion....:laughing

You also don't want one that searches for inputs. Mine does that and when I switch computers on the KVM if something like my laptop falls asleep it will search through all the inputs and look for signal which is annoying.

Also get one with buttons for menu options or at least power on/off. I hate the fucking multi function doohickey/joysitck on the Acer one I have. I have to press up on the joystick and hope I get it exactly centered and hold it for 4 seconds or it won't power off but it will open the settings menu and I have to start the power off process all over again.
