They need to do a Targa or something...

Can’t happen. Because they wanted to keep the A-pillars narrow to preserve the good forward visibility like the original, the roof frame makes up the difference by using ultra high strength steel there. It’s one of the only frame sections that isn’t lightweight materials. If they eliminated it to do a targa or a convertible (where the roof would go I have no clue), they’d have to move the curtain airbag into the doors like some other sports cars do (and the door cards are thick enough to do it), but the real challenge would be modifying the frame to maintain structural integrity.

The Avengers LIED!

A Spyder would be nice, too.

Might be a great car, but sales do seem to be rather underwhelming...

Do we like the new color for 2021? Long Beach Blue.

Yes.
Sadly, I don't think there's going to be a 2021 LBGP. Damn It!!!

Changing continents... I'd totally have fun in this bad boy.

The new NSX is an awesome car but maybe too much of a tech showcase to work as a daily driver like the first generation could be.
It’s in the price range of some exotics with way more panache. My money would be on a 911 if I were throwing down those bucks.

All the reviews say the car is kinda boring because it drives so well it could easily be a daily...

One review called the NSX the closest thing to the Porsche 918, I figure they probably drove both, that you can get today.

What I liked about it is the size, especially when I saw it parked next to GT-40's on display at Laguna. The Fords seem incredibly long to me. :dunno

Just got reminded that this exists. With the wagon talk the past few pages, seems fitting to drop it in here. Though doesn’t really qualify as a “wagon” if it only has two doors I think.

Hell, I'm still trying to understand how a car with four doors can be called a coupe or one with two doors can be called a sedan (saloon)...but here we are. :laughing

I guess sometime in the past 20 years, the definition of coupe changed from a “two door car” to “vehicle that sucks to sit in the back seat of because of low swooping roofline.”

Grandpa had one of these 61 Ford Ranch Wagons sort of like this. Well, sorta is a wide range.
Wagon rating is 100% though.
