Yes he and Max both beat the snot outta the bikes. Impressive build quality.
I formerly said "Honda build quality" when speaking of my experience when working on bikes. Now I say "Cake build quality."
Like anything new, they look awesome, but the price just seems insane to me. I have ridden a zero and it was a lot of fun. I can see some great uses for a bike like this, but all of them revolve around stealthy fun, and I don't think I could justify $13k so that I could fool around at my local BMX park in town. The Sur Ron looks tempting, but thats about as much as I would spend on something like this, at least in their current iterations. Any chance we get a bike like this down into the $6-$8k range?

For sure, and my hope is that eventually things get to a point where we see more of these types of bikes than ICE bikes. Its just too pricey at this point. I feel the same way about electric cars and trucks. Was recently looking at the Rivians, and while I would love to own one, them being almost double the price of a new fully loaded 4 runner just makes it difficult to justify at this point. I think Electric bikes have some huge upsides, and Im excited for their future. Each individual has their own priorities and pain threshold for pricing. I personally didn't buy the & to be stealthy, but after having a Sur Ron and experiencing a 110 pound fully electric two wheeler it put me off from ever owning an ICE bike again. My last race bike was a Honda RC51 which I loved, but man thinking back of the HP/Weight ratio it's insane compared to EVs. Nope this is my jam now so like I've said everyone has their own taste and priorities. Thank god for that too.
I just checked and it's another $1k (& 14 lbs) for the version with a plate. It may not go far, but it seems like an electric dirtbike should be rideable on the street.the "cheaper" Ink is $9500, about the same as a zero fx3.6
I've done it with most of my motorcycles. Name one you can't.Delivery backpack you'd be surprised how much you can carry, I doordash with my Light Bee. If you lock it up to a bike rack that'll help prevent it from getting stolen. Name a motorcycle you can do grocery shopping in? FZ07? DRZ400? GSXR?
I haven't worn a backpack while riding since the 80s. Even then I preferred having my stuff on the rear rack.Without a backpack?
