Building a new PC

looks good!, but why you need 2TB of storage?

I dunno Im just going off of the logical increments list. If I bump up to 480 Gigs for my SSD do I still need the HDD? Most of my current files are either stored in an external HD or my Google drive.

ITX is the form factor to go with, would also get a higher capacity SSD and save the money by getting smaller HDDs or dumping them all together

You don't need separate storage in that case. Get the 500GB SSD.

^agree, but it is more then $20 more

unless you are storing massive files like movies or a ton of pics, there is no way you need 2tb, especially with the trend of everything saved on the cloud.

Its time for me to upgrade. The new WoW expansion renders my CPU and video card obsolete. These are their recommendations:

Windows® 10 64-bit with latest service pack
Intel® Core™ i5-3330, AMD™ FX-6300, or better
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 750 Ti or
AMD™ Radeon™ R7 260X or better
RAM 4 GB RAM
45 GB available hard drive space

Thing is, I've never built my own PC before. I want to keep it a G or under. Since this is my first PC, I don't want to spend alot on expensive parts. Enough to get the job done. Any tips, recommendations?

Others have said, but if $1k is the max, you can build much stronger specs.

4gb ram is low, and 45GB vid card??? Do they build them in that size?

I think processor is fine, 8gb ram, 128 (at least) SSD, and perhaps a newer vid card. Can be done for under $1k.

Unless you are set on building (I've done twice, is a fun/good experience), you might check slickdeals, etc. for pre-made PCs (sometimes quite good deals).

If you are looking for video cards I have some 980ti's for sale. Just upgraded one of my rigs to 1080s.

What the shit is this...
Okay now I have to blow the dust out of the PC that I haven't booted up in probably two years and see if it still runs. :laughing
