If they fixed the buziness in the current motor maybe... its no way to put on the miles.

No buzzing bars on my F800ST after break in. :thumbup

My GS is fine even for long days. I have handguards though which I think help to diffuse any vibes. A friend rented F8GS and his was definitely WAY buzzier without any handguards. Could also be certain bikes are worse than others?

it's mostly the heavy bar ends on the ST that reduces the buzziness. it also depends how fast you're going. About above 5500rpms you'll start to notice buzz. If the barends are removed or smaller/lighter, like the F800R, buzziness is noticeable.

It was noticeable on the GS as well, but less noticeable if it had the handgards (test rided).

The new GT from the sound of it doesnt change the engine design.

The bags are nice improvements vs. the ST's sportpanniers. The GT ones look like closer in size to the RT/GT's side cases. They actually reminded me of the older RT's bags.

When dealers don't know anything about new bikes... nowadays I call that a stupid excuse. The internet is free and everyone can go on it. A motorcycle sales person has no reason not to browse and see what's going on in motorcycle world since it is directly related to their work.

Maybe there's no official details, but they should at least know what's coming out, just like how the rest of us do, if not sooner.

I think I saw it has EAS (?) Electrically Adjustable Suspension...Should be worth a look.

ESA. Which means they should've somehow reworked the suspensions. Otherwise, it's worthless to only have it adjust the rear. Although reading that article more, it looks like there's a manual knob to adjust the rear preload. Maybe it's a 'light' version of the ESA that only control the damping?

This also means the bike should be a bit heavier than the ST. In my opinion, this would help with stability, especially in long distance riding. The ST is light for a touring gig to begin with at around 465 lbs. wet.

I rode a 2009 ST around the North Bay for a whole day, I recalled it was quite a smooth ride. And it did 64 MPG.
