I'm selling a 20g xbox with a controller and a few games for $150. It's a few years old but isn't banned and works fine.



I only get to play like once every 2 weeks. I have satellite Internet at home and have to go to a friends to play.

although that might be my new motorcycle gang's name.

i might be interested in your xbox, if you give me some kinda return option. i'd hate to save fifty bucks, and end up with a dead console in a month. not that you're gonna burn me, but the xbox has a rep for dying for a reason....

They are known as failures and I forgot that they are only $200 now. Maybe I'll donate it to a church or something, I'd hate for it to die on someone and cause problems.

thats the thing. you got any little relatives? a niece or nephew? most kids have two or three consoles nowadays, maybe a neighbor kid or something?
and i wouldn't expect you to hold the cash forever, but it sounds like you know where i'm coming from.
the arcade versions are 2 bills, with a couple games and some other add-on crap to get them to move off the shelves.

Try Craigslist or eBay, that way if it does croak for some reason, you won't feel guilty about it. $150 sounds like a reasonable price since you're including games as well.

i stated that i'd find a 40-42" with all the goodies for less than 550, and i'm very close. i saw a 42" with fast refresh, good contrast, and 1080p for 599, free shipping.
c'mon bitches, fifty more bucks!!

GF was watching it, it made a popping sound, and turned off. Power light blinked a few times.

Now, when I plug it in, the clicks/pops once like it's turning on, but doesn't. Then the power light keeps blinking.

Service is SUPPOSED to call me today.

I'm hating on MW2 because they f'd over PC gamers

I pretty much stopped playing FPSs after Unreal Tournament got old but what is it about the PC versions of these games that you think makes them better than consoles. I see no difference, personally, and MW2 is pretty awesome. Play it on my desk and a PC monitor, feels just like a PC game.

The basic gist of the bitch (from what I've read) is no static servers, no modding, and small server sizes.

I guess people like 32 vs 32 servers so they can lob a couple nades in random directions and get kills osmenthe.

Gonna thread off topic a bit here, but what are your favorite weapons and how do you have them set up? My fav is the M16A4 w/ Heartbeat & Silencer. Three shot bursts, bullets last longer and you can get more kills out of it. I find myself running out of bullets sometimes w/ fully automatic weapons.

Primary: UMJ45 with silencer (or red dot, or rapid fire, I haven't settled this)
Secondary: .44 Mag with TACTICAL KNIFE BABY <-- this is the goods
Then flash and frag.

I'm one of those annoying dudes that runs around full speed the whole time, knifing people from too far away. I almost never use guns anymore.

MW2 is cool as fuck, but I suck big time playing online. BUT...WAW/Nazi Zombies I kick everyone's ass even the shit talking bastard kids. I just wish I could find a group of adults that can stick to strategies and don't pussy out, lose connection (timed out) in the middle of game.

good job at exploiting a game flaw. :rolleyes

The knifing and akimbo shotguns are getting nerfed with the next patch, thank fucking god. That shit makes the game not fun to play.

I don't know squat about this, but... I have a friend that had a life, a lot of people dream of. High tech business, wife was a nurse at the local hospital. Had a huge Sony HD TV /Sony playstation.

Now the business is possibly in the toilet, his wife left him, divorce is as soon as it gets finalized, friend can't sleep. He is at work (whatever that means) or he is on the couch with a headset, playing war games with others in the internet, all night long.
I've never seen this before. I can't understand a super smart person addicted and life spun out of control, and looks like loosing everything is just waiting for it to happen.
