Saving Delgado

Hi Wonderful BARFers!

Things are a movin' at the Rescue Ranch and in the past 4.5 months we have rescued and adopted out 100 DOGS!! Thank you to all those who have helped throughout our journey. The donations have made a world of difference and absolutely saved lives! :teeth

We even had recent adoptions BY members of BARF (GLIDE has adopted sweet heeler, Koda Girl, & ROGERS123 is now proud dog dad to adorable Milo) :cool

Today we rescued sweet Delgado from death row in Modesto. This beautiful golden retriever mix came to the shelter with a badly broken leg & tail. Sometime during his shelter stay the broken bone popped through his skin! Despite what must be excruciating pain, he is still a wonderful, happy and loving dog with the best temperament.

The leg and part of his tail will most likely need amputation. If you can help us cover the medical cost of this ortho surgery, even the smallest of donations make a world of difference!!

Aw man I wish I still had my own place. When I was with my ex we fostered about 4 dogs and found them all homes. Last one she ended up keeping lol.

Anyone who wants to get outta dodge and head out to the rescue ranch this weekend to come meet the dogs and help do some "dog days" is Welcome!!
Saturday AND/OR Sunday Noon to 5.

Need construction help, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, bicycle /(wagon) tire changing, fence repair, fence painting, hole digging, planting, etc etc. Tractor work as well.

Dec 31 is a terrible deadline for many shelter dogs. Modesto has 33 on the kill list. Hearts is pulling two out.
