Never Chambered?? My ish is within arms reach of my bed 24/7 loaded and chambered....

If someone is in my house i dont want to let them know im coming by charging my weapon....

Plus I know its good to go....just clear the safety and ill be good with no malfuntions;)

yeah but you got a freaking USP, with the double action hammer. i dont have that, if i had that feature , then yeah id keep is chambered.

Well I have lived in Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia and Texas. They all have very lax gun laws. I had a carry permit in both Virginia and Georgia. So by Kneesparx's logic I have lived in more states that are known for gun use than even Arizona so I must be the most knowledgeable person on Barf relating to guns. Ha ha :teeth I said Kneesparx and logic in the same sentence, I crack me up.

The point your missing is if the gun “could” go off then it is unsafe. There is no argument that with a fully loaded revolver the gun can go off. Hence the comment your actions are unsafe. Remove a round from the leading chamber to be safe. It can be said your judgment is clouded, as are your political views.

Single action Ill buy. How about the glock? BTW I dont stunt. I like how you bust out the little stabs like I don't have a clue as to what I am talking about. Like its impossible for that to be a double action revolver. You will notice in the last post I stated that I knew the GLOCK was double action. Slow down and read pal. This isnt a political battle, your allowed to think a little.

Tell me one person you know that needed that gun chambered. It takes such little time to chamber a weapon and works as a deterrent as well...and gives you time to think about whom you're about to light up. THAT is preventative ownership.

i dont know..... but ways seem cool to me, im sure as hell not goign to chamber my kimber when i go sleep, but id probably do it in a USP beacuse of the double action,

i can see how having to chamber it if someone is in your house might be a problem. i rarely get failure to feed though. oh well whatever floats your boat, theres a lot more dangerous situations out there. for all you know, your neighbors houses pilot light went out and is filling with gas and is about to explode any second from now

I have a USP also. I leave it unloaded. Mag at the ready. Last thing I need is someone using my shit against me. If someone gets the drop on you, you should be ready. No gettin shot by my own gun. Mainly I keep it unloaded becuase its simply safer. You can never be too careful.

did you look up action vs reaction yet?

it means: action is faster than reaction, that is why many choose to chamber their guns ;)

Maybe, I just want to think about what I'm doing and whom I'm shooting before I do so...

Billness: that's a nice piece. I was looking at one of those or the P229 when I got my Sig. It was a tough choice...

Thanks! I'm thinking of picking up a P229 to keep it company as well. What do you think of yours?

Since we're all sharing around the campfire, I keep mine unloaded but with two mags of hollowpoints right next to it. In most cases, with the arrangement of my apartment, I'll be reaching for the baseball bat first anyway. (It's a very small space; I'm not worried about the extra time to load a magazine since if time were that short I probably wouldn't even be able to get to the weapon at all.)

Do paintball pellets hurt when you're hit? Can they break the skin? Would it be assault if one were shot outside a game? Just curious~thanks.

Yes. Depends on distance. Yes.
