Barf Baja 2019 live trip and recap

Only three Hondas....an XR650R, XR650L, and a XR400R on this years trip. Ten KTM/Huskies, four Suzukis, a DR650, two DRZ400s, and a DR350. No Yamahas and three guys that gotta be different riding a Kawasaki, Husaberg, and Beta. :laughing

I hear there is also another Kawasaki wandering around solo right now down south wondering if his copenhagen supply will last until the wagon train arrives.

Anybodies guess how the Kant Take Mexico team will do this year. One of those orange motors was in final assembly last night.
Anytwowilldo was into one Huskie owners motor this year and I the other, so confident both of them will make it. :laughing

So far, only Honda and Kawasaki can say that everybike starting this trip has finished under its own power. And the Italians...... heck an Italian bike actually towed an Austrian one into Mulege. :wow

Buzzard Repellent, they better stock up on that KTM branded Buzzard Repellent fast!

Where are all the other rider Bio's?

I think we are just missing WFO, Slowpez, Dmitriy, and dsjanssen. Derek had to do some last minute travel for work and returns tomorrow night only to pack and leave for Baja hours later, so he gets a pass. Gerhard, Dmitry, and Will, dunno.

I finished final details on the bike today. Laid out all my trail tools and spares. Also had to get this years Barf stickers on, and yes, Sally is still on the bike from the New Years ride. Fookers got me while I was in the bar doing shots with Gerhard.

The good thing about being the current owner of Sally is I also get to nominate the next owner of her in Baja!

Huge thanks to Budman for getting and paying for some special stickers to commemorate this years trip. All riders will get the ubercool Barf AMA O/MC #0001 stickers on their fenders AND......Special 2019 Baja Barf stickers.

But wait... there's MORE. :wow We have a bunch of these 2019 Baja Barf stickers to hand out to the kids, locals, and put on bars/restaurants along the way. For those that want to participate, we will have a contest for the best photo of the stickers posted here in this thread. arty
