Geez, I cannot stand Ralph Sheheen. He's terrible. Which is sad because he loves the sport and is actually a participant. But he's still terrible.

He makes Sacramento motorcyclists look bad.

I bet if he worked around the real good announcers he would be good as well. His problem is content, and being around dummies dumbs you down.

Sweep the leg.
Man it would be awesome for them to offer live streaming, but how can they do that for free? Although sometimes other sporting events are free, like college football when LSU played Alabama this year.

Perhaps they've put a little bit of thought into a non subscription monetization plan for streaming internet video and they are willing to think a little bit further outside the box than an American station with the programming savvy of a sack of hammers (SPEED).

hes average at Supercross cuz he actually knows whats going on and who the riders are. however, when he comes into WSBK or GP (Miller, Laguna), he cant even pronounce names let alone give good commentary. seems unprofessional, like he didnt even both to do some research. aside from that, it seems he applies SX-style announcing to road racing, and that just doesnt work well.

i thought it was hilarious one race at Miller (cant rem if it was AMA or WSBK) where not a single word was said by anyone from when the lights went out to when the leaders were through turn 2. thats a shitload of exciting time to not be saying a thing. without the defined Holeshot of SX or someone going down in turn 1, they had nothing...

Speed F1 announcers would clam up after saying, "Turn up your volume", for the start

AMA Pro race announcers sometimes copied that approach, with less of a lead-in

Honestly, if it's Scott Russel, I would prefer that he just shut up and let me listen to the bikes.

moar fine tuning, per "RoadRacingWorld" site:

UPDATE:

It’s been confirmed that the World Superbike races at Phillip Island will be televised live Saturday, February 23 on beIN Sport TV [Comcast 429] beginning at 4:30 p.m. Pacific Time (not the 5:00 p.m. listed on the programming guide at www.beinsport.tv) .

For those who do not have access to beIN Sport TV, the races will also be shown via live streaming video on www.beinsport.tv. And contrary to what is stated in the FAQ (frequent asked questions) section on www.beinsport.com, network spokesmen have twice confirmed that no special login will be required to watch this coming weekend’s races via live streaming video

Not as fast as I look.

Oh, swell. Everyone gets Comcast fuxing channel 429. :party
:rofl
beinsport.com is a fuxing exercise equipment company. Are we now relegated to watching tubbies push treadmills across gyms? They have wheels and motors. :(

I wish to thank one and all, AGAIN, for all the bitching and moaning about SPEED TV. (I notice the obligatory derogatory remarks, as usual). Well, you will need to bitch at something else ..... like not seeing any racing at all.

beinsport.tv lists HANDBALL, but no motorsports at all in "Other". This is going to be big for them, I tell ya' what.
More :rofl.

Fack. De-pressed. Racing is about the only thing I watch on TV. :(
