BEIN for King Size coverage!!! there was so MUCH coverage (5 hours) that we
almost OD on racing... almost... now I just pray to the HRC gods that Uncle
Abdul picks up MotoGp as well... no need for Speed TV's pygmy coverage...

We didn't even notice there were no commercials until race 1 was over, and we noted, "Hey, we saw that all the way through!" :laughing Live SBK and SS, no commercials; I like it.

Great stuff man:thumbup serious though, broadcast in HD no commercials, all the behind the scenes stuff, and both Superbike races and World Supersport all in the time slot. No more waiting until Tuesday to see the Supersport stuff. Again great stuff now if we can get them to take over MotoGP.

Called DTV to see if I can get "beIN Sports." They said: "sure, it will cost you $52.99 -more- per month. That's a staggering $640 more per year. Uh, I don't think so!

Negative, EBD. The sports pack that includes it is $12.99 from DirecTV. I thought about it, but decided to pass. It's a long time until the next race, so I can think it over. Hate to pay for one show every 2 or 3 weeks, no matter what it is.

I had a lot of buffering issues for Race 1 on Comcast Broadband...anyone else or was it just me?

Yes, same problem. I missed race one, saw the SS race and race two, as far as I could tell, was not broadcast. Soccer came on. Unless I missed something.

Yep, 12.99 a month. So I went to upgrade, and apparently my current package was outdated. Come to find out the package that compared to what I had is $11 dollars a month CHEAPER! So I am only paying $1 a month extra for this outstanding coverage, as Ducky said. HD, no commercials or terrible Speed commentators. Thank you Speed, for sucking, thank you!

Its Dethklok!
Meh, after last years debacle with vh1 and a bunch of other channels, them dropping the wifes game lounge, I'm not prepared to give dtv another dollar.

We watched WSB Phillip Island on beIn sport. Freaking AWESOME! 5 HOURS of coverage. All the pre-race that Speed never showed. All 3 races with no commercials.

right you are on the 1st part [yahoo!] -
however, exactly the same 2 announcers as for previous Speed coverage

Ya but no Creamer to let us know what happened during the break, and then politely giving it back to the world feed, LOL. Maybe thats just GP I dunno. Very happy with the new setup.

I think that is just GP.

But the lack of HD and timely programming was terrible. This was easy, one big fat 5 hour slot. I didn't have to find the second race or have overlapping recordings and crap.

Seriously, thank you Speed for sucking!!! Best thing ever. I told Kristina how exciting this was, she just gave me a funny look. The question is, how do we get beIN to understand how appreciative we are of this? Go out and buy whatever is on their commercial spots? Pretty sure its mostly Euro stuff we cant even buy. Not sure how long this gravy train will last. :(

Useful idiot
I loved the coverage. I'm bummed that Comcast only seems to have a standard definition version. Still, it's better than Speed. If only MotoGP would migrate over there, as well. Oh well....

The standard def looked pretty good on my Plasma; I'll give up the HD in exchange for no commercials! :thumbup
