Surj (the man at City Bike) and BARF are throwing a celebration for the passage of AB 51 in San Francisco on October 8th, at DNA Lounge, from 1-4 PM.
We’d love for you to come out and celebrate a victory dance with us!!
This is a 100% free event—a chance for us all get together and raise our voices (and a glass, if you like) in celebration. We’re inviting everyone: moto-commuters, touring riders, MC crews, sportbikers, racers, dirt bikers—everyone on two wheels is welcome! I will speak a bit about the journey to this win, Nick Haris from the AMA will say a few words, and so will Assemblymember Quirk, Surj and a few others potentially.
We’ve asked ABATE, MMA, CHP, OTS and the MC's to join us too, and hopefully they’ll come out share something that so many moto groups came together to work towards. One of the best ever efforts by the two wheeled brotherhood I have seen.

We are very grateful to the DNA Lounge (run by Barry from SFMC) for helping us host. The DNA Lounge is located at 375 11th St, San Francisco, California 94103. Food and drink will be available. We expect all you grown ups to watch yourselves if you consume any alcohol of course.
We have some sponsors helping us put this together and I will add that list here in a bit. There will be an event special bumper sticker being provided and there will be some giveaways thanks to the sponsors support. There is no cost to enter the raffle. When you walk in you will get a ticket and your shot at some cool stuff.
Surj and I were stoked when the Bill passed and we are stoked to have you come out a share that with us.

Huge update on parking: Thanks to Cycle Gear's generous donation and weeks of hassling SF MTA, we have some parking blocked off on both sides of 11th street for our celebration, from Harrison to about halfway up 11th. There are also a few motorcycle spots around the area, including right in front of Cycle Gear around the corner. Please don't park in the bus stop zone or driveways, so we don't get in trouble! Motorcycles only, obviously!
For those caging in there is a pay garage at 255 12th street.
