A fire fighting motorcycle - interesting

So I was searching craigslist for fire stuff and this came up. I did a search of BARF and again kitchen sink so I hope it's not a repost.

Anyway, I thought it was interesting and whimsical and not to be confused with the wimcycle bicycle product.

Looks like something you'd ride in a parade, maybe with a dalmatian sitting on the back seat.

litre bikes are fun
A number of depts around the world use bikes for firefighting and parametic duties. there are a variety of bikes used for that as well. LA fire dept did a test with them in 12 but no idea what they did or how they tested them. makes sense for accidents to me but since here in the us motorcycles are toys it probably wouldnt get any traction.

Moto Paramedics and firefighters in congested cities make a lot of sense. Getting someone there with the essential kit to stabilize patients and prep them for an ambulance, or quickly pull someone out of a building or whatever quickly can only be a good thing.

This bike though, not so much, the trailer would mean no lanesplitting and thus no real benefit over a truck.

When we need a fire fought where I live... Air Helicopters and Bora Bombers do the deed.

There could be a slim/lane splitting quick, Motorcycle use in Congestion city, though.

I don't think a Goldwing/trailer, would be the hot ticket, though.

That's not a goldwing, they're a boxter, that has a higher cylinder, almost like a motto guzzi

Fire trucks/ambulances can get there pretty darn quick already all things considered. And even then a paramedic with little to no equipment isn't going to do anything, even a full box isnt always a life saving effort it's more about how quick you can get to an ER

This is basically a solution for a problem that doesn't exist
