Of course I am worried too.. separate room. Will sit far away from folks. My biggest worry is others who are not of the same mind.

I know I have taken shit from a friend or two for being a scaredy cat already. :laughing

Now wearing a mask is state law. If all our group wears a mask,no problem. There have only been 2 cases of 19 in the whole county. I think being up there is safer than around here.

I'm SERIOUSLY going to miss Rydther if it doesn't go down, but I understand. I've been socially distancing myself the entire time, wear masks in public and yet still have gone to work every day since the beginning as we've had to. I suspect many of you will be fine if you just practice the distancing and masks part. Downside is that distancing would've been far easier in Hawthorne than it would be at the Silverland or V.C. in general. :2cents

OK, this seems like a really dumb question, but I haven't been able to find an answer on my own -- so, does BARF have a sign up page or list created for peeps who plan on riding? Or, does everyone just make their reservations and then when you show up, it's kind of obvious that you're there?

If there is some sort of sign up, please direct me and type real s-l-o-w cause I'm feeling kind of, well, slow.

There will be a sign up deal and a private area to chat once you have.

You are on your own for reservations.

Think I'm going to sit this one out.
Was up in June and very few masks in sight.
and our peeps were sitting too close together.
Rather go out with a bang rather than on a respirator. :afm199

My worry is folks will not respect the correct distancing and some will get upset and some others will get upset.

This has to be done with total respect for others opinions and personal comfort zones...etc.

Y'all can do a buddy system to reduce exposure. Maybe split everyone into groups of 3 and during the whole trip they would all stay to their group bubble. Bring plenty of hand sanitizer.

I don't think we will need to worry.
If StonyBARF, a few weeks ago, is any example the distancing was respected.
Those who were comfortable hugging, handshaking, fist bumping did that.
Those who were not did not and were not heckled or avoided.
I haven't heard of any virus cases or deaths from that gathering. :wow :laughing

Just express (or show by your actions) your comfort zone when around others and I'm sure it will be respected.
We're all there for the same thing. Share good riding with like minded riding friends. Chit chat afterwards in the shade. Doesn't have to be done arm in arm to enjoy.

I'll bring my 4 booze bottle holder/dispenser and disposable shot glasses for those who want to imbibe safely. (well, hands free anyway)
I'll check with Bobert to see if the BBQ is available for those who would rather not "dine out", so to speak.
