The sun was bright
Just couldn't get my eyes off of the beauty this place had to offer, absolutely stunning!!

The sun was too bright for Kyle too, so he accompanied me under the truck
Michael just didnt care, he took out his RAVI cap and enjoyed the scenery
I dozed off for a few minutes!!

There were a bunch of Belgians waiting to cross the lake too!!
we got our bikes off and rode towards Passu
Michael's bike started acting up, some water was found in the carbs later on..

Waiting for some chai and snacks
We put our luggage at the hotel. Michael and Kyle went to rest up while Altaf, Usman and myself decided to look for a mechanic. Closest mechanic was in Sust and we decided to ride up there as the roads are as good as a racing track with the most gorgeous mountains on either side. Totally worth the extra 3 hours of riding
We got the carbs cleaned, oil changed and a few tiny adjustments there.
The mechanic didnt have a funnel so he used his hand. I asked him if he ever used a funnel, as that would make his life much easier but he nodded saying this is quicker. tsk,
While waiting for the bikes to get done, these guys stopped to get some work done to their bikes. They were undercover cops. Doesn't the guy in the white shirt look like a younger version of Matt Damon??
well maybe not haha!!

Meet Altaf from the support crew. Without him this tour would have been a lot less fun and i think Michael and Kyle both would agree to this..

I got bored at the workshop so joined the volley-ball game going on around the corner

We had an amazing dinner at Passu. Went to bed early as the next day was long.

These roads and trucks remind me of watching Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads on the History Channel. They did the route over the Himalayas on the Tibet/Indian side one season :loco
