Whats in your bugout arsenal?
30mm cannon when you care to send the very best and Homeland security California style...
I really like that PC Carbine but it hasnt been very reliable with the glock mags:/
Yup.
I don't see how anyone can "properly" "prepare" for SHTF in an urban environment. And by urban, I don't just mean big cities, but even lower density suburbs. You pretty much need a redoubt in Idaho or something.
And I don't.
I pretty much limit my stuff to the shelter in place "big quake" scenario. Beyond that, just have to wing it.
And if you live in Western Oregon/Washington, if you aren't prepped for in place of 60+ days, you will be in big trouble in that quake scenario. Big. Trouble.
The Mess Potential of a big quake up there is off the charts compared to us down here in CA.
Sooooooooooooo many compromises.
I grew up with a grandfather with a dairy farm who had several water tanks on his property. His emergency water supply was huge. I have a 3 car garage and yet only seem to manage to store about 200gal of emergency water, which is nothing in comparison and will deplete in about a week, maybe two with rationing or four with strict rationing.
my bugout plan is walk to the nearest marina with a couple sacks of rice, pick a decent boat and leave
...they are all on my CCW and I could legally carry them in a disaster situation.
If you encounter a sloop named SweeTART, leave it be. I'll be there shortly. And see below about having your weapons on a boat.
In a SHTF scenario, Marshall Law can be declared and render a CCW useless.
During Katrina, USCG confiscated firearms on boats they encoutered that were returning from having 'bugged out' after the initial phases of the crises.
Being a scofflaw might depend on likelihood of encountering law enforcement. An assessment of, "What's worse/most likely." would be the order of the day.
I am also a 5.7 x 28 nut. I have a couple of FN FiveseveNs (one of each grip color), a PS90, an AR57 as well as a MasterPiece Arms 5.7.Probably will get flamed for sounding like some teen COD player but AR57 and Five seveN. Both are light, easy to conceal & use same ammo. The ammo itself is super light and easy to carry 1000s of rounds on your person. 50 round mags for AR, 30 & 20 round mags for the pistol.

All with the largest mags, of course.
I mainly collect here what is illegal in CA!

Was that available several years ago? I have not looked for anything new in 5.7 over the last few years.Nice, kinda regret selling my PS90 but making it featureless would make it useless as far as handling goes. If I was out of Cali, I'd take this over the MPA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjlDlLkPSO8

I was thinking I had everything made that fires 5.7 x 28 of the (NV) legal stuff. Are there other firearms that fire this round that I do not know about?
