Based on the weapons-grade level of inane bullshit I had to contend with from absolute clownshoes while selling the Guzzi and M900 on the various CL/Social platforms... The next time I'm in the market to sell a vehicle I'll push it down to the end of the street, set it on fire, and take the loss.

When I was listing my bikes, there was NO language on CL about whether $5 was for the length of the post (7-10 days) or if it was the length of time to sell (1-many days). But yea, tossing money away for 0 additional value is too thrifty! $5 to go on CL or free to list on BARF/FB/etc.... why spend the $5? If you're in the Bay, CL doesn't offer much over BARF for selling bikes unless you're trying to get a premium on it

I sold my VFR800 in 5 days on OfferUp.

That said, I had a TON of lowballers, people who wrote things that made no sense, and lots of Spanish language inquiries. It was painful.

Agreed. Seems like a bunch of the same bikes (model and year) I've looked at are now asking for $1k more in the $3k-$4k range, $2k more in the $7k range, with higher mileages, than a few years ago.

It's $5 for 30 days to post my current bike for sale on CL. That's a whopping 17 cents per day!

I’ve bought and sold 20 bikes this year using CL, CT, FB, Forums, dealers, etc. CL by far has been the bulk of my purchases and sales this year.
