Vintage meetup at SFMC Saturday, July 5.

Kickstart Enthusiast
We're working on a plan to get together July 5th at SFMC.

Not limited to vintage riders, this is a BARF event and a meet and greet for your long-distance Vintage Café moderator.

I'll be in Bolinas the week of the 4th with family, and I'll be riding down from there on my R69S.

SFMCJohn is spending the 4th in Bridgeport, but plans to head back to SF Saturday morning. He's arranging for other club members to be there to host us until he arrives.

The plan is to start festivities at 3:00 until ?

I'm going to leave Bolinas around 2:00, if anyone happens to be in West Marin, and wants to ride down, I'll park my bike in front of Smiley's just before time to go.

The clubhouse is located at 18th and Folsom.

Hey Carlo and everyone,

OK, checked with the club, and no problem having the space available for BARFers on Saturday, 7/5, at 3pm ...

I'll plan on being there at 3pm, and will have a backup person if I am delayed for any reason ... I should be back in town with time to spare though ...

I'll get some pizza and we have a cash fountain with everything a vintage motorcyclist may wish to quaff! :laughing

see you all soon! :party

How close is a 2001 Custom to.... Vintage ? :)

10-4 & IN !

It'll be my first ride up to SF from SJ on my newly acquired 2001 EX250 Cafe Custom.... Not quite vintage but ... 13 going.... :)

Do we have / should we bring some "cold ones" to go with pizza ?

Hey Gerard,

The tradition at the SFMC is that every first-time visitor gets a beverage of their choice from our cooler on the house as an official welcome ... we have a pretty good selection of cold ones ... :thumbup

Looking forward to checking out your 2001 Cafe Custom! :ride

see you soon,

dude, bring the ZERO!......*calendar marked*

Wish I could !!! :rant

Here's why: her practical range is ~ 25 mi / charge (specs range is supposedly 58 mi / charge) !!! :x .... Now, the 2014 SR with Power Pack MSRP $20K specs range : 171 mi >> translation : practical range prolly is 130-140 mi >>>> SURE, I'll do eeeeeet in a heart beat !

Even with both on-board + external chargers plugged in at the same time, it'll take me 1 hour to get the battery up to 95%. So for this say ~70-75 mi trip, I'll have to break it up in 3 parts, find 2 places I could stop WITH outlet to plug her in and charge and sit around to kill AN HOUR at each stop >>>>> total ONE-WAY travel time will be 3-4 hours !!!! :wow :rolleyes

How many hours do you want me spend making the trip from South SJ to 18th & Folsom in the City and back ?????

Hell, if we were to meet downtown SJ, I'll bring the ZERO ! :teeth

IF ONLY I owned the '14 ZERO SR !!! :thumbup
