Fear me!
YES!! My 11 yr old son has been excited for this event for a while now. The mrs and I were concerned about his phone screen time usage since lockdown started. Turns out a good chunk of his viewing is about space, black holes, white holes and the Perseverance landing. The rest is mostly minecraft. Dinner time talk sometimes has the full on nerd effect going :laughing

It's pretty amazing that we first put a man in space only 60 years ago to watching a dune buggy being delivered to Mars on live TV.

The First link has a countdown timer! We are about 20.5 hrs away Ken. :thumbup

Thanks Mike! I looked up the schedule after I posted and JPL's site said 12:55 p.m. our time.

We used to do work for JPL; Derek machined a couple of mast cams for the rover that you worked on; I probably told you that already.

Take care!

Oh I remember Ken. I talked to Derek about it too. Most shop guys are much more, "parts is parts" about flight hardware than I am. I really can't hide my JPL starstruck fanboy attitude :laughing Rockets, robotos and research? FUCK YEA!!! :flag
