I went to Knoxville yesterday and there was another truck out there. There was a fairly small sign up and if you dissect it in my point of view, it says “ improved campgrounds are closed”. So I stayed away from them. Haven’t been able to get in touch with Stonyford Rangers but Monday after the rain is looking like a good day to ride. Anyone else want to practice social distancing somewhere Monday?

White pines has some nasty stuff, don’t ever go alone like I did, easy to get lost, trails aren’t maintained, but if you go with a good scout it’s awesome, you can also shoot on the way in before staging !

you know of any place where you can shoot from the camp ground? i'm having a hard time finding info BLM's where you can ride and shoot. wheni went to forest hill, it sounded like people where shooting in the distance. then one of the trails had a ton of shells at one part.

me and my buddy got lost at georgetown one year. we were running out of gas, there was still snow on the ground. really made me think about what could happen if im not careful.

According to my research National Forest LANDS are open, CAMPGROUNDS and facilities are not and probably will be locked. So bring your own TP! Stonyford is National Forest. Looks like rain through Monday. Anyone down for Tuesday?
On a side note, All National Forest is red sticker year round :thumbup

I cannot endorse any sort of group rides right now, so this thread is closing.

Please folks, everyone has, or could have, cooties. For some, they are deadly cooties. Please do the right thing.
