thanks el. Yeah i'd thought i'd practice some good basic (almost) parallel to the log, and 90 over it. I was having trouble remembering what works and doesn't. It's damn tricky. Every inch matters.
And yeah, the both-logs-at-once on the left side is easier, but actually scarier/easier to fall off the high side (ok it's really not that high). The tricky part you cant see is if you go too far left, you run into the vertical tree just after; too far right, and everything gets waaaaay harder. always something that makes it a challenge!
Thanks for advice, but truth is i'm a really slow learner! Takes me awhile for things to sink in. Right now I still think I need to roll off-on, which loads the rear suspension to give me the POP to get the rear off the ground and up to where the log is. On the other fallen tree with the horizontal 2x6's, I can stay on the throttle and drive the rear into those low boards and drive all the way up them.
That's my take on it, until my brain can release its hold enough to try it your way!
(I also need to beef up the 4x4 supports on that log, or it's going to crash down real soon)
I also need just a couple hundred thousand hours of practice to get where I want to be hahahahaha
