Since Stonyford & the Sheetiron was cancelled due to the fires, has the area recovered enough for a 2020 run?
I'm considering the possibility of running my GSA on the route before the possible event and want company. If anyone is up for that, please let me know, thanks!

the SFMC hears from our OMC sources that it's on for 2020 ...
usually the weekend after Mother's Day, or May 17th.
so Friday in Stonyford Rodeo grounds would be 5/15/2020 ...

If you want some one to show you around, I'd be happy to take you out after our Baja trip to show you sections they have historically run to give you a taste of the Mendo sections. Typically the only challenging sections will in be Stonyford and Middle Creek/Penny Pines. The dirt routes west of 101 are pretty tame other than some mud or water. There was/is snow up top in Stonyford as of last week.
I have no idea what OMC is planning for this year, but much of the hard sections they have typically run are still closed. Map here.
I'm hoping to go watch Motocross at Hangtown this year and skipping the Sheet Iron.

This is 100% a go, we got approval from forestry and now just have to do a little pre ride to make sure some routes on day 2 are clear.

yeah I joined about a year ago, Bungee Brent is a neighbor of mine and went to some meetings with him and liked it. Bummer if you miss it, its one of the few times I get to hang with you guys.
