ah, the stuff we have here in the center of the universe...
I know how epic your clubhouse is; not the sort of thing available to ordinary humans. You guys have fun.

Thanks for the hot dogs... The club house looks fantastic, and everyone was super nice.

Nice to see some familiar faces too.

Hey Akiko!

I'm going to miss you
because I'm only going in
order to get out on the
dance floor after the
band begins at 8pm ... :party

... hope you're back on the 350 ...
super-pleased you'll have a chance
to see the clubhouse in all it's
renovated glory and to check out
the scrapbooks! :cool

Haha. Sorry, I missed you, John. I rode the newer to me '69 CB350. CL is still out of commission....

I wanted to go early to see the photo albums and scrap books. Thanks to the club for sharing those truly historical documents. It's wonderful they're still around and generous of the Club to share them.

I loved the photo of the SFMC "Amazons" on one of their trips. What a cool group of ladies!

It was fun to read about the Gazzos Endurance run. Sounds like it was quite a challenge to ride from SF to Big Basin - especially in the mud on those old bikes.

The club looks great. Thanks again!

Disappointed I missed you both ...
glad to hear you were made to feel
welcome, and enjoyed your visits! :thumbup

Looking forward to seeing you
guys soon, and to seeing
the '69 CB ... :ride

Thanks for reading Butch and Budman,
I'll try to post some pics ... :party

As you know, you and everyone reading this
are also welcome to swing by the SFMC on any
Thursday night (except Thanksgiving, ha) ...

The door to the club is usually open around 7pm
for our regular weekly meeting, and you can always
park right in front with everyone else ...

Times like this I dislike working Saturdays.
Sure woulda liked to come visit the re-opening.
Been to the club once... to watch Paris Dakar videos and presentation by a PD racer. (a few years ago).

Love the history and info presented there.
The members rock in my experience as well.
If I were a club type person the SFMC is most likely where I'd hang my jacket and park my scoot(s).

Thanks for sharing this John!

And...
Since I have Wed/Thu off I may well make a Thursday meet to see the renovations and chat with the members.

Hey John! :ride

I used to have Tues-Weds off ...
I missed a lot of weekend stuff
but never had to worry about crowds or
finding a campsite during the week ...
miss those days! :thumbup

We'd love to see you
at the clubhouse in San Francisco
any Thursday night that
works for you ... :party

thanks for the
kind words!

What BARFers and their motorcycles
would have looked like in 1904 ...
no computers (and no AMA! :laughing)
so they formed the SFMC instead ... :party

Our Historian/Librarian, Brian H., had these old
newspaper clippings from the SFMC's
scrapbooks blown up to display at the open house ...
this is another of the many SFMC female motorcyclists ...
