Kinda hard to see how bad the bike was before but she was definitely rough around the edges. A blind man would be happy to see her.

Short list of things I did:
Clean and degrease the things that shouldn't be greasy
new tires,
Calipers from a CBR600f4I
Brembo Master on the front thanks to barfer demoni
Stainless lines
front brakes bled
LED bulb
Front end resprung and revalved and serviced by SPS
front fender, forks, radiator sides and back of gauge cluster coated in Truck Bed liner.
Radiator flushed and new coolant added.
Oil and filter changed
Charcoal canister and AIS system removed and blocked off
Aftermarket chinese rearsets from danmoto
Twin carbon pipes also from danmoto
Rear fender delete that I 3D printed
Installed integrated tail light and turn signal unit
Rear grab bar block off plates thanks to barfer McGrude
Lamb sacrificed to the elder gods
Seat recovered
Nitron rear shock
rear stainless line and fluid flushed and bled
Air filter replaced and flapper valve removed
New handle bars
New grips
Bar end mirrors
Clutch lever replaced with fancy chinese crap
painted rust inhibiting paint on lower triple
phone mount
Fancy cheap gas cap
Sticker bomb design along tail and top stripe of tank
tank grips and pad
Other minor things

I've always liked these bikes (had the smaller 599 for a while), you've definitely made this bike look great, and I'll bet the upgrades make it perform nicely.

That was a fun thread to watch.
Nice job. Congrats on a one-of-a-kind-head-turner.
That bike was most certainly headed to the scrap bin to be parted out or worse.
I'm happy to see a bike brought back from the dead and ending up cooler than when it was new.
You can't buy character but you sure as hell can build it.

I love reading up on this progress threads and to see where it comes. Is it inappropriate to ask how much you have into this? Including the price of the bike? This looks like such a fun hooning/commuter now, what kind of mpg do you expect out of this?

Got the bike for 1k
shock was 1k
about $300 for fork work
$800 in stickers(kidding)
$400 I think for the rearsets and pipes
$60 Calipers
$150 for the brake lines
$100 in fluids
$70 bars
$30 gas cap
$30 lever
$40 tail light
$20 block moff plates
$40 for seat cover
$30 for air n fuel filter
$20 LED bulb
$220 tires

Roughly $3700 I hope
A lot of these prices were foggy recollections from drunk me purchases

now, what kind of mpg do you expect out of this?
