Dear Wendy,

The interview panel has completed their review of candidates for the opportunity of: IT Business Applications Manager. We were all very impressed with your professional background and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you. After much discussion, the decision has been made to re-open the candidate pool and continue our search.

We appreciate the positive attitude and professionalism you demonstrated throughout the interview process. We wish you all the best and thank you for considering.......xxx

:cry

Is it time for a drink yet :(

Sorry to hear that.... 4 rounds of interview and they still do not know what they want...

You are probably better of this way anyway....

I went through the same thing with UCSF. They made me go through 3 different interviews before they gave me my offer ; the delay was because they were actually trying to secure funds for my position.

thanks :)

I swear, this is leaving a really bad taste in my mouth. When I asked her originally why they were delaying the decision making meeting until last Friday (when it was supposed to be the Friday prior) she emailed me a (what I interpreted to be) a really snotty fucking email, along the lines of:

"I have omitted nothing, there is nothing that you need to be concerned with, thank you for asking, have a nice day"
I interviewed over at EVault in Emeryville (now part of Seagate) for a job in their Windows Server support group. Made it through 3 rounds of interviews including a marathon 4 hour session with 10 different people. They didn't even call me back saying I didn't get the job. I've never been called back when I don't get the job, it's always an email. HR paper pushers are like that.
