What more appropriate place for a plumbing question than the sink?

Can someone tell me if there's a particular name for this type of shower, because "corner shower" turns up different stuff in my googling. I need to replace the builder spec model in the house with something nicer and better quality. Brand recommendations welcome. 32x48 if it matters. It's probably tempered glass, so I guess I'll have to have a special piece cut for the knee wall.

Not sure of a specific name. Corner shower using a standard fiberglass shower pan. Looks like the one in my house I removed and did a remodel on.

Try googling: "glass shower enclosure"

That will bring up a lot of what you want. If you want the base too, just find one that says, "with base."

I totally want to rip out my cheap fiberglass tub and replace it with a really nice shower, but everyone keeps telling me that it could reduce the value of my condo. I'm close to just saying, 'fuck it' and just doing it.

Go to Lowes or HD and tell them what you have, they'll happily educate you on the terms of art that you can use to go look stuff up.

How about call it expensive?
We did a remod 30 years ago and we have the golden shower. Stuff. All tile though.

Please share what you come up with. I might be tired of the Golden Shower. Or not. You miss things once they’re gone.

we were in a similar situation - and hated the look of the of the metal framing. we went with seamless glass panels. pans are easy, but for the panels, sounds like you are looking for something pre-fab. in our case it required custom - not sure the cost difference, but the cost for custom seemed reasonable to us. on another note, not sure if you’ve considered it or are into it, but we’re looking at the ‘wet room’ concept for a future remodel (open shower without any glass panels). there are a lot of cool designs around this concept and your layout looks perfect for that (stone work being an easy DIY).
