Justin Hill qualified well again in 3rd. Hmmmmm.....

Roczen (he has to stop Tomac to stay in it)

Anderson
Webb
Hill

And Friese for 12th place and the wildcard pick.

Looking forward to the 250 race.

Epic 450 battles! Tomac wasn’t making friends on his way through the pack tonight. Davalos hanging on to a podium finish all the way to the last lap and last corner. That had to be gut wrenching for him. There were battles all over the place. Hill off to killer start and half the race. Even Friese stayed up towards the front for much of the race.

Nothing predictable and a great show. :thumbup

4) Tomcat Tomac: need to cut back mistakes
Congrads to all the Racers! There was a lot of racing going on; got to watch that main again.

Supercross fills a huge sports void for me.

Not a big hockey or BBall dude.

Plus is it so bad ass!! Thinking back to the Thursday night Baylands racing program and how fun it was doing a sort of supercross track every week I know these guys are loving it as long as they don’t get hurt.

We had 100 fans and that was enough. :teeth

4:30 PM PST gate drop, another early one.

Jmart was on fire in qualifying, he knows how to ride sand, and Daytona is the race most like outdoors where conditioning really comes into play. Would be great to see him mix it up with Sexton, Mcelrath for a his first win since breaking his back. :thumbup

Tomac crushed qualifying beating Roczen by 7/10th of a second and Webb by over a second. :wow Three time winner, tough physical track.... tough to bet against him here. Then again, if he doesn't get a start........ he has plenty of guys now that arent just going to let him go and some that might even want paypack (like three or four). :laughing

Friese for 10th place wild card. Good start and fade back to 10th?

Daytona! Last weeks show was one of the best yet, this weeks track should make it as good.

Webb and Tomcat carry momentum... last race they both passed a lot of no-slouches. As did Barcia

Tomac was impressive as hell. He had to work his way past Barcia, Plessinger, Anderson, and then Webb. Then cut down an impressive gap Roczen had on everyone in only a few laps in the last minutes of the race.... :applause to Tomac. Great show, I really though Roczen was going to win with a just a few minutes left. :thumbup

And Congrats to Marchbanks. What a place to win your first race and in an impressive manner. It wasnt a gift, he got out front and kept Sexton at bay the whole race.

First lap mayhem and when I saw Jordan Smith get knocked out of the way by Mcelrath, I thought... oh no. He is going to get used like a ragdoll again. In Tampa he was punted twice. But he fought back the next corner and took out himself and Mcelrath. :laughing

I'm beginning to think Tomac doesn't need to work on his starts, he seems to do better going through the pack. That was a very impressive performance! :thumbup

Did anyone else think that start loop was not the best design RC has come up with? Unless you're looking to cause mayhem, I suppose....

Other than that, Daytona does not disappoint!

I almost always root for the underdog; never thought of Tomac as a underdog, He can real it 2 sec off lap times, amazing!.. Ya I was rooting for him.
Forced Roczen to lose balance~ .. the win came down to under a second. Lol
