Lowering a DRZ 400 SM is so easy!

Greetings from THill...
Word. We need to start our own FAQ filled with How-To's.

Someone bring a camera to the tune day and we can get a few of them done at once. Whenever we get enough of them posted throughout this section, I'll put together a how-to FAQ thread.

We can create a sub-forum called "Motardpedia" :thumbup

I claim all the really simple stuff. Let the real mechanics post up stuff on how to swap an engine or change the oil without breaking engine case... (I hope I never do that!)

:applause Vic, thanks for the detailed description! :cool

It's exactly what I did - along with seat slicing (like a bagel :laughing - not 'shaving' so the top half can be (re)placed back and seat cover restapled for a stock look/height if needed) and trimming of the kickstand. (Holler if you want my bro to do yours too, he did mine & masameet's.)

Bar risers let me lower the front a tad more, as stock bars don't leave much clearance for that. (They were also ~$79, like the KoubaLinks.) ;)

Oh and I set the sag/suspension at Evolution Suspension, too. :thumbup

I saw your bike up on the top of 9, 2 weeks ago It looked totally normal aside from the links. Didn't looked like anything had been done at all.

Here are the stock links removed. Notice the gold insert where the holes are. They're gonna have to be removed & reused.

Could someone please tell me where to get a set of bushings, someone replace the links and never put the bushings back in so it sloppy I knew it was missing something. I searched all over the Internet and I found nothing which is crazy. If someone could help I would really appreciate it thanks
