I looked that up on Wikipedia and felt like I needed a dictionary and another degree to get it. I think I know how to answer the poll now. :laughing
BTW: I checked "about average" but I think I'm "below average" frequently, so somewhere in between those two I guess. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I ain't all that and a bag of chips... I get by though, and I do well at work because I think I put in the extra time and effort where I know I lack true brain power. Fortunately it generally works out, as my job is just problem-solving 3D stuff, being a decent planner. It's not always as smooth a process as I'd like.
I'm sure I don't understand most of it, but the layperson's version is the old workplace adage that A's hire other A's, and B's hire C's.
Or, in other words, Really smart and talented people want to surround themselves with other really smart and talented people, even if it means often be humbled by the intellect or talents of the people who surround you.
Meanwhile, folks who are not as smart or talented, or people who feel insecure about their intellect or talents, will surround themselves with those who are less smart or talented, so they feel better about their capabilities.
