What the fuck. I never met the man but he really seemed like a genuinely good guy. I was wondering why I hadn't seen him on BARF lately. Rest in peace Hoho. You will clearly be missed by many. :rose

Hey there T. Can I catch a ride with you from Napa? I can drive from Cobb to your place, but I could not do the drive to Fremont myself. Gas money and or

Never had the privilege to meet Hoho….but from what I've gathered from the postings here, he was a fun person to be around and has touch the lives of many Barfers. To a kapwa Pinoy, RIP brother.

Worth saying, since this is a motorcycling forum, that Hoho was a badass motorcyclist. He was smooth from the moment he kicked the stand up. And on the brakes, on turns, on downshifting, etc. Never ridiculous fast, but never slow either. Just right. Prudent. Always with loads of margin for error, which he never needed. It was reassuring to share the road with him. That I will miss.

Hoho had a superpower that only a very, very few have in this world; he had the gift of turning strangers into friends with only a few words. His warmth and kindness will be missed and (in part, thanks to Dennis's renaming of the rally) remembered for years to come. We are all so lucky to have known him in our own ways. Rest and ride in peace, Hoho.

I'm very sorry to hear of this. I think I only met him once or twice. You are a wonderful friend Budman, I'm sure he appreciated everything you did for him.

Weird how all the pictures I see of him he's surrounded by people I know and places I've been, but I can't remember ever meeting Hoho. May have been just one of those, "hey nice to meet you" *shake hands* thing at a rally and we went our separate ways, but it seems like I missed out, judging from your posts.

We have added Hoho to the Gone But Not Forgotten Forum.

For so many of us he will always be loved and remembered.
My ride last weekend included a few moments where I dropped my hand to my heart and said to myself. Thanks for riding along with me Hoho. Love ya man.

Finally got the DRZ fixed yesterday. Hoho and I took a pretty awesome road home. He puckered a couple of times on the dirt section, but otherwise he enjoyed the ride immensely.

The memorial was really good.

Thanks to all that came out to celebrate Hoho’s life

The service itself was good. Touched me for sure.

The family is so awesome. No wonder Hoho was.

More pics to follow.
