Dubbelju Motorcycles is sad to say goodbye

It's definitely a bummer. We're going to have a lot of things to sell too. Parts, seats, old tanks, and a lot of bikes. Get with me if you'd like to see anything and I'll meet you there to show it. Soon enough I'll get everything listed on the website and CL, but you don't have to wait if you're after one of the bikes.

Message from Wolfgang:

After a few months of hope we had to face reality and made the decision of not reopening our shop. This was a very difficult decision. We believe it is the only economically reasonable one given the forecast for the global travel industry.

If you are looking for a good, used motorcycle please visit our site again. We will liquidate our fleet and start selling bikes soon. Maybe you would like to fly in, purchase a bike and ride it back home? Let us know, I’m sure we are able to help you.

We will miss you,
Wolfgang and Crew

Super sad to see this Lucy. :(

I understand not pouring money down the drain in hope.

My best to you, Wolfgang and the crew there. A lot of smiles provided and appreciated.

As a former employee, this is very very sad news. I actually found the job listing on barf many years ago as well.

I'm gonna HELLA miss those visits. Dubbelju was a respite from my day job. When it got stressful a quick walk to the shop had me smiling again. So much legit bike love in one place.

This is truly sad news.
My best wishes to Wolfgang and crew. Thanks for all the positive things you have done for the riding community.
You will be missed.

Lucy, is the rental gear for sale as well?[/QUOTE]

That's going to be a yes. We are concentrating on the bikes for now, but when we clear out enough space, we're planning on having an open-house covid-restricted sale, of sorts. Otherwise, feel free to message me and we can taco bout it.

So sorry to hear this, but fully understand given the current economic reality. Good luck to the whole crew on their future endeavors.

It has taken a few days to digest this. I love Dubbelju, it has been my home away from home for more than a decade and I consider Wolfgang family.
So I shall mourn the loss of this great business and yet I shall celebrate Wolfgang's retirement.

Sorry to hear this!

I often pointed folks to Dubbelju when asked about bike rentals.
The best and most diverse moto rental business in central/northern CA.
Most rental shops are brand specific.
Dubbelju bucked that trend and tried providing a choice to customers.

You will be missed.
If it is retirement... then that is the pearl inside this (ugly) oyster of news.
Get out and enjoy your time left!
(when the .gov let's us that is)
