Cracks in tires?

Whatever that means
I ordered some Rosso III's on behalf of everyone's concern. Christmas came early for me this year.

I've seen those in my tires before, too. I always thought they were from road debris. that said, i love new tires! bike handles so much butter. what's the difference in changing them now, vs. a couple of months from now? nothing really, you stll have to pay for new tires either way, and you get the bonus of a better handling bike for a couple of months sooner rather than later

Interest adding up on credit card. The end of the year sucks for me. I've got a few vehicle regs', my license, and then birthdays and christmas out the wahzoo! The wahzoo I tall ya. I was hoping the wife could get me the tires for xmas so she wouldn't have to think about what to get me or overspend on me.

If he keeps riding, that front won't hold air a couple of months from now.

Mount a take-off or a used tire? A Shinko?

There are always cheap tires available in the parts for sale section.

That's the front tire???!!!!
Holy Sugar Jets that Energica EVA must be really nose heavy! And/or yer doing a lot of "stoppies" on yer commute.

Saw the front on a female friends VFR 800 once that was worn down to the bars on the sides but still fresh in the middle. She was a pretty aggressive rider and seemed to spend more time leaned over in the corners than riding straight.

i hear you. just get a front then... everyone here agree that the front is needed but the rear looks ok? plus a front tire is cheaper than a rear? i think i saw some 120 70 17 pilot roads in the classified for $50?

These discussions of date codes prompted me to check the date code on the front tire on my XR650L, the "dirt' set of tires (have another set of "street" tires that are more recent). It's 4310. The back tire is about worn enough anyway. Time for a new set of dirt tires for that bike.
