Things are looking good for Sasquatch.
Now, do I ride down, drive down or go glamping in the RV?

I got a call from the folks who manage the fairground and they let me know the facility is locked down until 5/15/20.. This rally is now on tentative status and we may cancel, for those who have been following along. Modoc County is Corona free at the moment. They have two itty bitty medical centers and I don't want us to be the people who bring this virus to their neck of the woods. I'll make the final call in early June.

Just FYI if you had been thinking of attending.

I may be able to attend!

Now, if it doesn't get cancelled...

:thumbup

if Cedarville gets cancelled this year, I'm shooting for Anthony Peak on Weds. 7/22/2020, on the way to Weaverville ...
maybe see you up there? :teeth

othersize, Cedarville, ftw! :laughing

If Cedarville gets cancelled, you'll be riding up here to do our own ride, camping and fishing at square lake in the Yolla!

oh geez, better start looking for my fishing stuff now ... that’ll be a project all by itself ... if I find it that’ll almost guarantee Cedarville will happen. :laughing

Can I come?

My concern is this:

Cedarville and Alturas each have one tiny medical center. So far there is no 'Rona there. I don't want us to be a vector that brings sickness to the area.

I am considering a Perseids camp out in August if this has settled down a bit and it would be in the same area. There is no guarantee I will cancel Cedarville. It's going to depend on a conversation with the folks who run the fairground some time in early June to see how they feel about 50 grubby motorcyclists descending on their town.

We can always come back in 2021.

if the SIP is lifted but Cedarville thinks we’re too grubby in late June, we could do an ADV-style-meet-up on Anthony Peak and ride over to Square Lake and fish and camp there a second night ...

always helps Plan A happen if you have a solid Plan B ... :laughing:ride

hope you’re following uncle john’s example, and building a nice, mild, low-compression DR engine for long-street-thumper-life hi-jinx ... :toothless

I'm in if things don't go sideways. If it's during the week USAL beach is a good time as well.
