It makes sense that HRC has more faith in MarcVDS for the long term.
Isn't that a slap in the face to AM if Miller gets to jump straight to MarcVDS MotoGP, but AM has to go through the Moto2 route?

im pretty sure AM didnt want to go straight to GP. AM is going to be in perfect position to take Dani's seat if he can put together a great year in Moto2 next year. IMO Miller is poised to become, at best, a Sat-lifer like Cal.

Apparently Rossi recently tested here on an R1, and has plenty of times before, as part of the vr46 academy

Btw it has a totally redone surface that no one else has rode

Thre's a couple otehr little changes too. some walls have been moved and the layout has been changed ever so slightly. and no astroturf

w/ some walls moved, i wonder if theres any more hope of going the other way. 14->11 would be nuts on todays bikes.

Page 4 in less than 21 hours from first post and were still nearly 10 hours away from bikes on track. Good job kids. If Rossi doesn't lead FP1, its OK to not panic.

i actually think it will be the opposite. i think since rossi has already had a good amount of time out on the newly paved surface, he will be leading fp1 and then slowly drop off all weekend until raceday where he will have his hands full to keep the lead, but since this is his home gp, he will pull out the win.

Rossi was 3.9s behind in FP1 last year and im pretty sure he went down. we'll be fine no matter what he does in FP1 this year.
