This is likely the problem.

Here is the message I get. My only option is to hit ok and not BARF.

Certainly don't give up. I have confidence the Barfette's are trying to resolve this with the virus guys. Are you able to manually white list barf? Can you temporarily disable AV while browsing BARF?

Also, see if your McAfee Software needs updating. If not call them and complain. If that gets you nowhere then switch to something else.

Barf keeps getting flagged

All week my phone keeps warning me about visiting teh barf when I click on a thread update link in my email box. McAfee is not happy with the url for some reason. Did something change on barf's server or is McAfee being paranoid?

BARF has never had HTTPS, it's been talked about for at least the last 2 years, IIRC.

There continues to be talk about it coming, but we're still waiting....

MacAfee ...invasive net nanny. You should be able to whitelist BARF.

sadly, whitelisting is controlled by the admins. i am not able to make any changes to those settings.
