I wish I could do this ride, but going to get dirty this weekend. Next year.
hey W800! :wave
bummed out I missed you, next time! :ride
Next time! I met some really cool folks there, BTW!
PS - I was wondering about that handle on the Vincent too. It's for the center-stand!!
We watched him use it, and that solved the mystery for us.
Dude. Next year. We can trailer our bikes there behind my 914.
:thumbup
glad you met some good people and had a good experience with the riders ... :gsxrgrl
ha, thanks for that info ... now I can notice the linkages to the handle and centerstand. never would've figured it out, was too sidetracked on the rear break and kickstarter ... :laughing
couple more pics:
usual suspects, the Laverda 750 with the upside-down forks and Nimbus, we often spot both bikes at SF vintage events ...
:ride
GPzPop joining the fray on his 126,000 mile Kawasaki "commuter" ... :afm199
Actually my ZZR600 is just shy of 170K at this time, ha ha
Great pics John!
Was out of town, but maybe next year on one of my pre-vintage bikes... or is it post-vintage? hmm...

I think the best part was when our group ride of around 100 or so bikes, stretching over 1/8 mile plus, passed in the opposite direction a group ride made up of Harleys who were in about equal quantity to us.
I think they were a bit surprised , also !
They were in much more "military" formation, though
Thanks for posting the invite in Vintage Cafe, and good to see you and Cary, and all my other new BARF friends!

I didn't realize there were so many BARFers in attendance on Sunday! It was nice to meet you (again), Simon. I wish there were more vintage bike meetups. These one day events bring out all sorts of cool bikes. If you're on Instagram, I posted a few photos and a video there. I'm 1965_dreamer

The only social media I'm on is these motorcycle forums and LinkedIn.
If your Instagram is open to public view, could you post the link so I can see them? Thanks
Which bike did you ride? Sorry I missed this one but dirt biking weekend was planned before I knew about this one.
I got the parts I needed to finish my exhaust so I’ll have the aermacchi ready to go soon!
Thanks for all the pics that have been posted!
