Man this should be fun! Going to be riding dirt this weekend so going to miss it but this may motivate me to get the aermacchi exhaust system finished so it’s actually rideable. :thumbup

Edit: just pulled the cover off it and rolled it out. It started right up so that’s good! It does need some love but it will be ready to ride soon!

I'll aim to go to this! Anyone in the general Santa Rosa area, that wants to meet up and ride south together, let me know!

this is a great ride for the Aermacci (once you get to SF, ha), so maybe next year, hopefully ...

Hope to see you there, flipstyledsm22! will you be on the '84 FJ or the '83 KZ? :ride

I should be on either the blue '73 Tiger, or the black '85 H-D that you can see in the pic of Kalle's 1963 Chevy.
Kalle should be there on one of his old Indians ... :afm199

I haven't gotten the FJ1100 road legal yet, but the KZ750L will be nice and good to go! I am still hoping someone from my area could join me though... but either way, I'm aim to be there that day.

god bless Kawasaki ... :ride

3.5-hrs to go 49-miles???

yes, guess they go to Baker Beach for half and hour and Twin Peaks for 1/2 hour if we can still get up there with all the pedestrian/bicycle street closures. and after that it's probably an average speed of 20 mph in the city over 49 miles, and, since it's a vintage ride, the rest of the time for smoke breaks ... they've been doing this ride every year for maybe 20 years, so they have some experience with how vintage guys ride and blab ... :laughing

Hopefully Cary and Schnitzel will join us for coffee ... if you can't make it we'll see you soon! :ride

I'm in! Tagging.

Need moar dirt
+1 I plan to be there as well John, thanks for posting this up:thumbup

I rode with the Vintage motorcycle guys on a similar ride years ago that started @ the yacht club...it was a blast, and true to form a few miles later in North beach, we found some of the ancient british bikes by the side of the road with oil issues... :p

Also if any other barfers are interested, I'm planning on a short ride after lunch out to Pacifica to visit Pedro Point Brewing (barfer Lunchbox's place); they're now back open with limited seating and their delicious beer is available in 4packs as take out--I'm planning to stock up :thumbup :staRang :teeth

Good to see you, John! Hopefully, it won't be years before I see you again, so I don't get you mixed up with your fellow SFMC member. Doh!
