One can dream that a world level race might be held there in the near future.

While the track may turn out to be awesome, the surrounding areas lack of good dining, nightlife, hotels, etc would make it a tougher to draw huge crowds to the event.

Immediate area, agree Mike, however Bakersfield is only 35 minutes away. That's where I stay when we're racing at BW.

How can you say there is no good night life in Buttonwillow? Didn't you read about the Kangaroo Rats?:toothless:party

im not holding my breath for FIM A-grade curbs, run-off, or wall placements no matter what some press release says. but hey, if there are some useable curbs with real paint, itll still be better than all CA tracks except Laguna and Ill be stoked.

IMO, a new track is a good way get out of a rut and learn some new things. its not as good as private coaching, but ya.

What about private coaching on a new track?

I think that’s a waste actually. I’d rather not waste 2-3 sessions learning a track so you have more time to focus on what the coach is instructing. I’d rather be up to speed right away to work on things I rly need to work on.
