Your all time favorite bike to ride

What bike did you enjoy the most or was your favorite to go for a ride on? Not necessarily the fastest or best looking, the coolest, but the one that made you smile the most?

For me, it would be a Monster S2R1000. Certainly not the fastest or coolest, but I just had more fun on it. More than 600s, 929, or RC51. Did everything well, was comfortable, and just smiled more than any other bike.

How about yours?

I’ve loved them all but when I ride my Low Rider S I have the biggest smile

My FXR. More so because of the way it defies expectations. It shouldn't go that fast, it shouldn't handle that well. It never fails to make me laugh out loud at least once every time I ride it.

Suzuki Bandit 1250 SA. My comments are similar to others, it just did everything well for my style of riding. It was more than fast enough, very stable on the highway, and was very comfortable. It handled well, stopped well, and was reliable.

I just loved my old CR80 2-stroke. The peaky power, the long suspension. It was a real experience and big part of my childhood.

My two current bikes fit the bill if forced to flip a coin and pick just one I would be happy with the results. BMW S1000R when I want to be a hooligan or hit the twistys. The 2014 Honda Interceptor when getting from a to b. Either bike can perform both duties life is good. :)

Royal Enfield Continental GT 535 or an early 80s Yamaha YZ 490. One is about actually enjoying the ride, the other is all about being terrified the whole time. Both are great experiences.

My '82 Honda C70 Passport always makes me smile. Lots of adventure and memories since 1984. It gets to the core of the motorcycling for me: a trustworthy engine, two wheels and the wind in my face :gsxrgrl

The first streetable, could keep up or pass my buddies and was paid for with my own funds motorcycle.

The brand and model aren't important. Losing my virginity was. You never forget and will always love your first.

great thread. All time favorite for me was the RZ350 on the track.

On the street it would be the DL1000 - it raped traffic, took me on long trips, hung with the superbikes in the twisties, did everything I needed it to do and did it looking butt ugly - which made it more badass.

I've loved some weird bikes.
1979 XS750
1987 YZ250, the bike with the WORST forks. Loved that thang
1983 XL600R suermoto'd. Only bike I could consistently wheelie
My 1991 TZR250, raced it for 7 years.
Love my current bike, 2006 ZX14. It just does everything I want without being a torture rack. Reliable and fun.

This way...That way...
For just me on the bike, probably my Gen 4 VFR. It was a good time of life, and I seem to remember various rides on that bike more than the others

For two up, definitely the FJR.
