2003 XR100 with superhead /Kitaco/Clipping Point and more - $1
$1,500 OBO. (858) 354.4487
This bike won the XR modified class at the 2012 M1GP 24/Hour Super Endurance Race.
I just finished rebuilding the motor and it has 0 miles on it since the rebuild. This bike is ready to race as it sits and needs nothing. My wife wants a 250 dirt bike and this has to go to afford one..... so..
What this bike has:
Engine:
Clipping Point 115cc Superhead big bore kit. This completely replaces the stock cylinder and head. The intake and exhaust valves are considerably larger than stock.
NEW Kitaco 115cc Piston Kit. Motor has 180psi of compression
Race Cam
Kitaco High Flow Oil Pump
Earl's Plumbing external oil lines and External Oil cooler.
26mm Mikuni Carb jetted for mods
BBR full exhaust
Chassis:
'87 CR80 Front end internally shortened 5" for 4.5" of travel. Dampening rods have one of the dampening holes welded shut in each rod to improve dampening for road racing. Front end has been serviced and has fresh fork seals. Front uses the CR80 disc brake and has sintered pads. Brake master has been serviced as well and is in perfect working order.
Rear shock is from a 2005 Kawasaki ZX10-R Frame has been modified to accept this shock which gives you spring preload, rebound and compression dampening. The new top mount is heavy duty to deal with the change.
Swingarm is modified to accept any shock of choice with a clevis bottom if you want to run a non-linkage based suspension. This, along with a modified section of frame under the motor, allows you to dramatically change the ride height of the bike. You can remove the top-out spacers from the front forks and attach the ZX10-R shock to the swingarm directly and raise the bike up to a 31" seat height.
Wheels:
Near new 17" Excel 2.5" rims with heavy duty Stainless steel spokes. These wheels were built right before the 24/hr race and the bike has not been race/ridden since then. Tires are Bridgestone 125GP Slicks in YCX compound
There are other odds and ends but this is the main gist of it. If you know what you're looking at you will know this bike is fast enough to win at sprint racing and dependable enough to win a 24 hour endurance race. Proven. Any questions or if you wish to buy it, give me a call. 858.354.4487
