I'll be there! Working on the medical team all weekend, but my evenings will be free. Anyone else going want to do a BARF dinner or something?

I really hate how they keep dropping the WSS races. It'd be great to see PJ mixing it up and possibly winning. Am I the only one who could care less about MA and would rather see the WSBK "support" class?

Dorna doesnt want to pay to ship all the WSS bikes over. plus, theres only enough garages for WSBK. even MA SBK wont get any. with all that, its prob an ez sell to the WSS teams to not have them race.

Never thought of it in terms of garage space, but you're likely right. I hated not seeing the Moto2 and Moto3 when MotoGP was at Laguna and find it equally annoying the WSS isn't going to be there.

its going to be very hard to find anything for $70 per night anywhere near Monterey that weekend. i stayed in the shitty Motel6 near the Salinas Airport last year during a non-race weekend and it was still $80. prices are way up further cuz of WSBK.

check AirBnb or Vrbo. i got an AirBnb for 3 nights for $290 in Seaside.

moto-camping on fox hill is only $40/night. hot showers between turn 5-6. roll out of bed your bike is right there and you can even watch the on-track action right out of your tent / hammock etc...

Try Salinas(east side if your brave)for cheap motels, 15 minutes from the track

I've done that for the 1st & last time. Every MotoGP (now wsbk) year Salinas turns into a party shack at every motel, keeping you up all night. We had some dummy w/a bmw alarm that kept getting set off (deliberately) last time.

After being kept up all night, by the time we got trackside, everyone wanted to lay down & go asleep. The next few years tried camping, friends houses nearby, & nice hotels. You don't get the parties, but no crazed all-nighters at the Hyatt or Hilton...

Think about it. Save $20 to stay up all night? Easy decision....
