Thanks LB... I am not giving up.

I missed the entrepreneurial hat in my thread about hats.
That must be the issue. :p

Knocked out a 11.5 hour day and I admit it did feel good to vent. :teeth.

I am going to buy a bigger screen for my computer as a gift to myself for busting ass. Man...... BARF is going to look so goooooooooood!

pffft... 11.5 hours ain’t shit. you’re a racer. no boundaries. no limits. this is just another big sweeper and your hand is on the throttle. it’s second nature. you know exactly what to do (turn your head in the direction you want to go, twist your wrist, and hang on).

Speaking of entrepreneurialism, if you're not an inspirational speaker, you should be...

well the commute in to the city and the hard time finding parking convinced me it's time to start commuting by moto again.

I was just recalling doing the 24 hour race thing last night.
Headlight not showing the apex of the corner you need to turn into and just going for it hoping that you would pick it up and could make minor adjustments in time to not go off the track... blind faith in one's self.

So sort of like that then. :thumbup

I see a business opportunity for an entrepreneur, sanitizing offices.
Plenty of unemployed looking for a new gig.

Yeah, but it may come down to "what offices?" More and more companies hinting work at home for many may carry on.

Yep, they just extended our mandatory WFH through 10/1. I have some friends that work on facilities and said that there is a lot of reshuffling going on, I have a feeling a lot of offices are getting consolidated, and Im starting to wonder if we may go to a permanent WFH with offices set up as "collaboration spaces" IE come in for meetings etc maybe do some work at a hoteling space and then leave.

We have 4 offices in SF right now, I know they are trying to reduce that to 2, one in mission bay and one on Market.

We were told to not be shocked if we don't return to the office, ever.

Opportunity to be 100% remote.

We are rolling out a plan to bring staff that isn't efficient remote due to role type in the coming weeks for "phase 1". "Phase 2" will be late summer/fall and will be those that want to return to the office. "Phase 3" will be "everyone" else and that's not anticipated till spring.

Welcome to the new pan-covid world in which we live.

We're firing back up and I'm supposed to get on a plane in a few weeks.
Not digging that idea.

Yeah, I have to man our booth in a trade show in September in Cleveland. I'm not looking forward to conversation that I'm gonna have with my boss because I'm gonna be asking him to let me rent a car and drive.

What show is that?

My furlough was just extended to end of August. The company I work for is a big supplier for trade shows

Social distancing is hard at work, everyday ppl grow tired and literally inch their way back to each other, it's awkward and tiresome to keep that as THE major focus at work.

Hey bud, when is the last time you were actually at your office?

Every day since the SIP started.. lonely :laughing

Only for a bit when I went riding.

Long hours.. dealing with employees being offsite and having to do everything for myself is exacting time. Typical hours are 8 to 9AM to 7PM.
I have come to hate the 7AM meetings because I have to set an alarm.. and I am damn tired later. 1AM is going to be early these days..:laughing

Car collision sent one off the road destroying my sign.

With construction allowed I just met the contractor this AM to get him started. Total bummer, but it will be fixed in a month or so.

Our building insurance paid us. Hope it is enough

I think it will be. I assume they went after the drivers insurance.

Dude or dudette did not even touch the brakes. Until they hit the lawn. Nothing on the sidewalk or on the street.

Yesterday we were told that employees are to continue working from home till September 1. This has be extremely difficult because I started with a new company on March 2nd...two weeks before shit hit the fan.

I've been driving by there the past couple months for work and saw it, immediately thought of you. :-(

It sucks, but at least they got the driver. DUI or cranial rectitis? I've been seeing a whole lot more of the CR lately, people are out of their fookin' minds! :wow
