Women will finally be able to drive in Saudi Arabia

It's hard to believe this is happening in 2017. It's so far removed from live in the U.S. But there it is. There is still the question of whether women will need a guardian man's permission to obtain a driver license. But this is certainly a baby step in the right direction for women's civil rights.

Lets be clear, men and women both drive poorly. The WAY that they drive poorly is very different. This is where i would normally make some sweeping generalizations that someone would get pissy about. But you know what im talking about....

In the State of California, both men and women are allowed to drive after completing the required tests. Neither gender has a right to drive, it is a privilege to drive...

Have you guys seen all the facts on this? It was reported that the women have to be 30 years old, get permission from their male guardian, can only drive in specific areas and only during certain hours. I wouldn't be over celebrating quite yet.
