Witcher 3 Trailer

Feanor

Unmasked
Excellent game. They should make a movie a la Avatar of this series. The balance of combat is extremely well done, and its virtually impossible to rely on a single strength (pure swordsman, pure mage) and success often means an artful blend of several disciplines exactly depicted as in the first video with contingency planning and proactive strategy again as depicted in the video.

The environments are simply amazing, outstripping anything out there currently and a powerful computer is a must to see everything to its greatest effect.

Another great balance mechanic of the game is the sidequests are engaging, complex and completing a majority of them is absolutely required in order to achieve high enough level to advance the main storyline. Unlike many other RPGs this one cannot be done by just completing the main story missions, and literally guarantees 100's of hours of gameplay (and probably would even if the sidequests were optional)

The themes are solidly adult in nature and not watered down clear choices of good and evil. In many situations you'll find yourself morally on the side of the apparent "bad guy" when faced with the often draconian side of "justice and order"

Wife is going to be gone for a few days and I'm planning on getting it.
Then I plan on not leaving the house, be in my chonies, drink manhattans, and slay bitches.
Oh and [spoiler alert] have sex on a unicorn with Yennefer

Lol!

Yes, the romantic (and intimate facets) of the adventure I consider a challenge within a challenge. as you'll often find yourself saying "Give me strength to stay true!" with the "interactions" you'll be faced with regarding women; another aspect of the game in that these situations are presented to you in a very believable, compelling fashion and you're not simply showered with "willing babes" left and right like a Bond film. Just as in life, strings are attached to everything.

I pretty much avoid buying rpgs, every single one I've ever bought has been pretty disappointing. Just not my type of game I guess.
