How Can I Win A Free Trackday?
Thanks to some generous contributions, you have a chance to win a free trackday. Pacific Track Time, Keigwins@theTrack, and Zoom Zoom Trackdays have each donated a trackday I'm holding this raffle to raise funds for the PolyHouse program in San Luis Obispo, which I am an active part of this year - you can enter the raffle by clicking on the link at the bottom of this post.
What is PolyHouse?
PolyHouse is a graduate level Project Management program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. PolyHouse gives students a chance to learn project planning and management skills while exposing them to the benefits of community service. This spring PolyHouse will renovate the home of yet another deserving local citizen.
The family we are helping this year is a 16 year old disabled young woman confined to a wheelchair and her aging grandparents who have adopted her. They have also cared for over 20 foster children. The granddaughter was born with a heart defect and had 3 heart surgeries before the age of 3. She developed seizures and experienced a stroke at 13 months. Complications arose in her last heart surgery which left her in a coma for 12 days, and when she woke up she had permanent severe and profound multiple disabilities which left her dependent for all self-help needs.
It is our goal to improve the safety and comfort of their home with the possibility for :
1) completion of a roll-in shower
2) a heating system
3) renovation of the wheelchair ramp in the front of the home so that it meets safety standards
PolyHouse will also be performing other much needed renovations that would otherwise go undone, improving the safety and comfort of their home and completing other household projects that would otherwise go undone, bringing hope of a more comfortable life for the family.

How Can I Enter The Raffle?

Entries will be closed on Monday, May 11, so the drawing can be held on Tuesday May 12. The construction takes place over two weekends, starting on Friday May 8th, and finishing on Sunday May 17th.
