Who's your favorite Powder Coater for MC stuff?

Hey gang, who's your favorite powder coater (including blasting and prep) in the Bay Area? Also looking if they do other coatings like Cerakote. I have MC frames, wheels, parts, all kinds of sizes. What say you? TIA

Maas Brothers in Livermore do a very good job with powder coating. I've used other shops that were a little cheaper, but had problems. Always great quality with Maas Brothers. I don't know if they do Cerakote, but they do some cool stuff with regular powder such as pearl and clear top coats.

West Coast Powder Coating in SSF (650) 871-0400. Many of the shops have used them for years. They do really excellent work, but require that everything is already prepped. . .bearings removed, etc.

Another vote for Maas Brothers in Livermore. Very nice work.
Don't think they do Cerakote but that's just a phone call away to find out.

What are you wanting to Cerakote? Are you concerned with uniform mil thickness and/or very close tolerances between moving parts? If not, and parts will fit in your oven you might want to do it yourself.

I had an incredibly good job come out of West Coast Powder Coating. There was a mistake the first time, so I recommend being clear on your expectations and they can do it. Reasonable prices. Not the highest or lowest.

My friend, Joe, does bike painting and powder coating in his garage. If it will fit in his kitchen oven he can powder coat it. (When his wife isn’t home... )
