I'm getting excited that the race season is fast approaching. I can't wait to get out there. I've noticed a lot of people getting some new toys over the off-season. I'm trying to get a picture of how big the Super50 grid is going to be this year. With a quick view of past threads this is the list I've put together so far. If you plan on racing Super50 and I missed you on this list please speak up.

Brian Harp - GPR50
Me - GPR50
Tim O - GPR50
tlthehun - NSR50
Wrongway - NSR50
Minoru - NSR50
Manimal - NSR50
Secn8ure - NSR50
JonA - RS50
Eddiemcrider - YSR50
Speedzzz - Metrakit

Hopefully Todd A (GPR50) and Steve S (GPR50) will make an appearance here and there. When I went to 02/26th's newbie orientation day I also noticed 2 other GPR50s and an RS50. I know there were a couple of other regulars from last season that raced in Super50 but don't post up here too much. So we're looking at a grid of possibly at least 10 bikes per race this season. I hope that's the case. Hope to see you all on the track.

I will be racing in the Novice classes (Super 50 and Formula 50). Still thinking about Trophy Dash though.

Not to get technical but.. there is no longer "Novice" classes Mark, you know that. Just did'nt want you to confuse anyone. Remember all of our classe,s with the exception of "Beginner" and "Novice Trophy Dash" are for all riders Novice and Experts:teeth

:toothless I'm soooo last year.

Matt, can you post the updated class structure?

Oh and can you tell us the track layout for race #1? Would like to get the gearing squared away if I can't make Saturday practice.

Thanks!

Are we(nsr) and you(17/50) racing together this year?

Not to sound harsh (and I'm not necessarily picking on you Minoru) but ALL OF THIS AND OTHER INFO IS IN THE RULEBOOK!!! Have any of you even looked at or down loaded the 2006 rulebook? It gets a little old answering the basic of questions that are clearly stated in the rule book.

To everyone...Please, for the sake of yourselves and the club, DOWN LOAD and READ the 2006 RULEBOOK!!! You all have had plenty of time to familiarize yourselves with it by now. Remember, it is mandatory that you have one. Don't make me resort to asking for proof of one before I allow you to race.

Rant over:teeth

Ok. Just to reiterate, I will be racing as a Novice in both Super 50 and Formula 50 classes.

Mark #41 (Derbi GPR50 and Honda NSR50)

Here's a snapshot directly from the rulebook of the classes in question:

Anybody know if Elias B. is coming back?

BTW. Add another NSR50 on the list. Sean, who I met at the NRS day, will be racing with us too. Though he may miss race 1 due to other obligations.

Is CyberStar (Anthony) coming back?

I plan on entering the all-mighty YSR in Super 50 and Formula 50. Just found out that I'm not racing at Willow Springs next week, so if I can get my ass in gear, I'll be at the season opener (yay!).

Seacrest out,

Mike

According to this rule book which I carefully have read with my poor English, in Super 50 we DO NOT RACE TOGETHER, or do we? That was Reyefumi's original question. " Who is racing in Super 50?" Or am I still missing something?

Number four, under the rules for Super 50, is pretty specific. It seems to disallow most 12" wheeled bikes, the one exception being the Metrakit 50cc.

Super 50

Big Wheel 17” & 16” and (Metra Kit OZbike 12” wheel 50cc)
Any combination of engine/chassis listed:
DTLC, YZ50/60, TZR50, NS50 series, NS50R, MB5, Derbi GPR, Derbi SM, Aprilia RS50

1. Air-cooled displacement limit is 64cc. Water-cooled displacement limit is 52cc.

2. Any combination of engine and chassis from the models listed above may be used.

3. Frame and suspension modifications are open. (See line 14 for MetraKit OZbike)

4. Tires and wheels are open (must be 17” or 16” with the exception of Metra Kit Ozbike which must
use 12” wheel)
